PRESS: Owner of Kamis brand may quit Russia

MOSCOW, Jul 27 (PRIME) -- McCormick & Co., Inc., the owner of spices brand Kamis, may leave the Russian market, business daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday citing sources in food retail.

Sources in a large retailer said that there was no official notification on Kamis’ intention to stop supplies, but there are their disruptions. Sources in Lenta said that about 25% of the product range cannot be ordered, and there are no supplies from Europe.

McCormick said that it would halt all operations in Russia, including promotion and new investment in March.
